The Glass half empty or Half full
In this analogy as it relates to counseling people tend to have a different worldview in terms of how they view or perceive issues. Those that see the glass as half full may perceive it in a positive way. Those who see the glass as half empty may perceive it in a negative way.
And, as it relates to matters of the heart this can differ from person to person. However, God is concerned about your heart. In fact the condition of your heart is critical in your walk with God and how you relate to others. So, in Christian Counseling it is imperative to examine your heart and motives.
That is why the bible talks about the condition of your heart. For example: Matthew 6:21 makes this statement. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Also, there are some other scriptures that apply as well. (Proverbs 3:50, 4:24, 23:26) , Romans 12:2) Psalms 51:10), (Philippians 4:7) and (Psalms 34:8).
So based on this premise New Heart Ministries for Christ Counseling is committed to helping those who want to resolve their problems by learning how to apply God’s Word. By doing so many can receive the freedom that God has for them.
