I am Pastor Tonya D. Nicholson—a pastor, Christian counselor, author, and teacher with a deep passion for helping people grow in faith, understand God’s Word, and experience Christ-centered care. I proudly serve as the Pastor of New Heart Ministries for Christ and as the Philly Hub Pastor for The Embassy House of Zion through the Impact Center.
My background in psychology and counseling heavily shapes how I serve both in ministry and throughout the community. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Richard Stockton University and a Master of Science in Counseling Studies from Capella University. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of serving through counseling, education, behavioral support, Bible study teaching, support groups, weddings, baptisms, and family care.
Known for my clear, discerning, and practical teaching style, I am passionate about guiding others beyond confusion so they can apply biblical truth with confidence and step into total wholeness. Above all, my life is grounded in faith, family, and service as a devoted wife, mother of three adult children, and grandmother of four.
